# Forbidden Message Categories

> Identify traffic, offers, and messaging that must not be sent through Leadping.

If a proposed source, offer, message, or audience falls into a category below, do not send it through Leadping.

<Warning>
  Do not test a questionable use case in production. Pause and contact [support@leadping.ai](mailto:support@leadping.ai) with the website, source, opt-in path, message examples, and intended recipients.
</Warning>

The [Acceptable Use Policy](/docs/acceptable-use) contains the formal requirements. Follow the stricter rule if any guidance appears to differ.

## Restricted use cases

Do not send the following without explicit Leadping approval and all applicable provider approval:

* alcohol, tobacco, vaping, or other age-restricted promotions; and
* political, charitable, public-health, emergency, or similarly regulated messaging.

Approval is not guaranteed.

## Prohibited practices

Do not:

* split prohibited traffic across sources, numbers, brands, or accounts;
* rename or disguise a use case to pass review;
* send content materially different from approved examples;
* continue after a Leadping, carrier, provider, intake, or compliance issue;
* upload contacts that did not opt in to the specific outreach; or
* ignore STOP, DNC, unsubscribe, suppression, or other no-contact requests.

Leadping may reject leads, disable sources, pause numbers, block messages, or require additional review.

## Review a proposed use case

Before launch, compare the entire workflow—not only the message text—against this page:

* business and sender identity;
* source and audience;
* offer and product;
* opt-in disclosure and TrustedForm certificate;
* message content and links; and
* recipient preferences and suppression status.

If the classification remains unclear, do not send traffic until Leadping has reviewed it.
