Before you begin
Have these items ready:- your name and phone number;
- the organization’s legal name, phone number, industry, website, and address;
- its EIN and a matching IRS document in PDF, PNG, or JPG format, up to 4 MB;
- a preferred area code for the first Leadping number; and
- a payment card.
Complete onboarding
The setup wizard has eight steps.
Submitting the final step activates the plan, purchases the selected phone number, and starts the setup workflows. Leadping handles the required A2P 10DLC registration; outbound SMS remains unavailable until it is approved.
The profile step uses TrustedForm to record completion of Leadping’s own onboarding form. This is separate from the certificate that must accompany each external lead.
Create an intake source
After onboarding:- Open Sources.
- Select Add source.
- Give the source a name that identifies the real form, partner, CRM, or posting system.
- Copy its
lp_src_...key into that system.
Add TrustedForm to the production form
Every lead submitted through a source must include its own TrustedForm certificate URL. Leadping rejects the request if that field is missing. Confirm that the production integration sends:metadata.trustedFormUrltoPOST /leads; ortrustedFormUrltoPOST /leads/intake.
Test one lead
Submit from the real production form or posting system.- Confirm the request returns
201 Created. - Open the lead under the expected source.
- Check its contact fields, tags, metadata, and TrustedForm URL.
- Wait for processing to move from Verifying to Ready.
- Confirm the conversation and any configured automation behave as expected.
